Peter Facinelli was cast as centuries old vampire 'Dr. Carlisle Cullen' in the Twilight film series. Carlisle is the original 'vergetarian' vampire who made the decision to only turn someone into a vampire when they were dying. Carlisle and his wife Esme are the 'adoptive parents' of Edward, Emmett, Rosalie, Alice and Jasper. Carlisle also works at the Hospital as a doctor. Facinelli previously starred in the McG created series "Fastlane" as 'Donovan 'Van' Ray' before it's cancellation after only one season. He has also had a recurring roles on HBO's "Six Feet Under" as 'Jimmy' for six episodes during seasons 4 & 5, and on "Damages" for 8 episodes as 'Gregory Malina' for the show's first season. Alex Meraz first appears in 'New Moon' taking on the role of "Paul". Paul is a member of the Quileutes and was the second teenager to join the werewolf pack. Despite joining early, he is still considered the most volatile and can turn when his emotions get the best of him. He imprinted on Jacob's sister, Rachel, and spends a lot of time at the Black's house. Meraz's first movie experience was on the epic "The New World" in 2005 starring Colin Farrell and Christian Bale. His other roles have included the film "Two Spirits, One Journey" (2007) and appearances on the TV series "Dancing with Spirit", "Freedom Riders", and "The American Experience". Daniel Cudmore joined the Twilight Saga to play “Felix” one of the Volturi guard first appearing in “New Moon”. Felix is one of 32 to serve the elite vampire coven known as “The Volturi”. As with each of the guard, Felix was hired for his own specialty - his amazing strength. He along with the others protect the Volturi and go with them to help police vampires that have gone out of control. Cudmore is known for the role of ‘Colossus’ in the 2003 film “X2” and “X-Men: The Last Stand” (2006). Daniel has also made appearances on "Stargate SG-1", and "Masters of Horror", and has performed stunts on various films and TV shows including "Supernatural", "Psych", and “AVPR: Aliens vs Predator - Requiem”. Kiowa Gordon also joined the Twilight cast for the sequel 'New Moon' playing "Embry Call". Embry was one of Jacob's best friends who became a werewolf and joined the pack during New Moon. While Embry's mother was from the Makah tribe and not the Quileutes this caused some upset since the wolf trait was passed from father to son meaning he was half-brother to one of his packmates. His nick-name for Bella is 'vampire girl'. "New Moon" was Gordon's first major film role and he will returning for the third installment "Eclipse" set for a 2010 release. He is now currently working on "Murder for Dummys" a comedy-horror alongside Tony Todd, and horror flick "Into the Darkness" both due for release in 2011. Tyson Houseman has played the role of "Quil Ateara" since the 'New Moon' film. Quil is one of the La Push boys that is friends with Jacob, but soon loses his friends to the pack - so when he finally becomes a wolf he is happy about it as he gets his friends back. Quil is also described as being Jacob's "wingman". His imprint causes quite the scandal, but he's content with it. "New Moon" was Houseman's first on-screen role; he returned for the sequal movies, "Eclipse" and "Breaking Dawn - Part 1". Gil Birmingham took on the role of "Billy Black" - Jacob Black's father who has been confined to a wheelchair. He tells the legends of the Quillette tribe, and the 'wolves' that went before them. He has a hatred for 'the cold ones' and tries to uphold the pact between with the Cullens. Birmingham has done several guest appearances, including multiple episodes of "Veronica Mars" season two as casino owner 'Leonard Lobo', as well as "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", "Charmed", "Nip Tuck" and "Into the West". Justin Chon portrayed the comic newspaper editor 'Eric Yorkie' - who greeted Bella upon her arrival to Fork's High School and much like the other boys soon fell for her. Eric is a friendly character who offers a few comic moments throughout the film, and winds up DJ-ing at the prom with his date by his side - Angela. Justin Chon will also be known for his starring role in the short-lived series "Just Jordan" playing 'Tony'. Chon also appeared in the 2007 comedy-horro "Hack!" and the 2006 movie "Fleetwood". He also made a guest appearance on "The OC." Chon's upcoming projects include the new Harrison Ford & Sean Penn movie "Crossing Over".
