The rail station at Luton airport is the 'Luton Airport Parkway Station' and it is only a few minutes away from airport terminal. There is a free shuttle bus that you can use from the airport to the station and they leave every 10-15 minutes during the day, however at night only leave once or twice an hour (between the hours of 00.00 and 05.30).


There is no direct train from Luton Airport into Northampton, instead the journey is split into two legs:
First Leg: A 45 minute scheduled bus journey from Luton (LUT) to Milton Keynes Central (MKC). Followed by a wait for the train which is approximately 30mins.
Second Leg: A 20 minute train journey from Milton Keynes Central (MKC) to Northampton (NMP). The train company is the Silver Link service.
Total Journey Time: 1hr 35mins approximately. This may vary.
