Alan Blumenfeld

One of the shows scariest villians, Alan Blumenfeld portrays the character of 'Maury Parkman'. Maury is Matt Parkman's father who abandonned him when he was 13. A founder member of The Company, Maury is a telepath and besides being able to read minds, he is also able to trap people in nightmarish visions that draw off the victim's own thoughts and memories. He can project visions at a more subtle level as well, to the point of convincing a target they are having a conversation with a mental image of an individual.

Alan has also appeared on several other TV series including a recurring role on "Gilmore Girls" as Stars Hollow's Rabbi, and guest appearances on "Roseanne", "Cheers", and more recently "CSI", "Stargate: Atlantis", and "Greys Anatomy". His film credits include the 2008 Pacino & DeNiro flick "Righteous Kill", "Pathology" alongside Milo Ventimiglia, and "In Her Shoes".
