Patrick Gilmore is one of a few guest stars to have appeared on all three Stargate series: “Bernie Ackerman” in SG-1’s season 10 episode ‘Morpheus’; a Genii Soldier in Atlantis season 4’s ‘Harmony’; and finally, the recurring role of “Dr. Dale Volker” throughout 39 episodes of ‘Stargate: Universe’.

Gilmore has also had a recurring role on AMC’s “The Killing” as ‘Tom Drexler’. He’s had numerous guest appearances including “Smallville”, “Battlestar Galactica”, “Reaper”, “Eureka”, “Fringe”, and “Tru Calling”. His films include the horror flick “The Cabin in the Wood” alongside Chris Hemsworth.

Michael Shanks played the scientist, “Dr. Daniel Jackson”, on Stargate, an incredibly intelligent character with 3 PhDs to his name in Archaeology, Anthropology and Philology; not to mention a linguist speaking over 23 languages.

Aside from Stargate, Michael has also appeared in several other series, with recurring roles on the likes of “Smallville” as ‘Carter Hall aka Hawkman’, “Burn Notice” as enigmatic bad-guy ‘Victor’ and ‘Mark Bishop’ in Day Six of “24″. His other guest appearances include “Supernatural”, “Sanctuary”, “Andromeda”, “CSI Miami” and “Eureka”.
